Short rentals of up to 5 minutes are free.
When you tap your card to start the rental, the bank temporarily reserves several euros as a deposit (you can see the exact amount on the terminal).
If the total cost of your rental is less than the reserved deposit, the system will refund the difference. If the cost is higher than the deposit, it will make an additional charge.
